Accenture and Google Cloud have announced the Gemini Enterprise Acceleration Program, a joint initiative designed to help global enterprises move from AI experimentation to agent-based execution. The program combines Google Cloud engineering, Google DeepMind model access, Accenture’s forward deployed engineers, and industry expertise to build specialized AI agents for complex business workflows.

The program gives enterprises early access to Google DeepMind frontier models, including the Gemini family, while deploying thousands of AI-skilled engineers and forward deployed engineers across customer use cases. Julie Sweet, Chair and CEO of Accenture, said the shift is from using AI as a tool to deploying agents that can take on meaningful work across the enterprise, with humans remaining in the lead.

The partnership also introduces Generative Content OS and Agentic Commerce OS, two platforms aimed at marketing, retail, and customer experience workflows. According to Accenture research, more than 90% of frequent AI users said they would switch brands based on an agent’s recommendation, pointing to the rise of agent-mediated commerce. The new offerings are designed to coordinate workflows across customer engagement, merchandising, payments, fulfillment, and digital content production, with Generative Content OS using Google Cloud’s generative media capabilities, including Veo.

The program also integrates Accenture Intelligent Digital Brain and decision intelligence capabilities from Faculty to connect AI across business functions and support human oversight for high-stakes decisions. Accenture and Google Cloud are also offering pre-built agents for sovereign AI deployments, addressing data sovereignty needs for organizations in regulated or jurisdiction-sensitive markets.
