Biography

Eric Maroyan serves as Managing Director at RSM US, a former Deloitte, bringing an executive background with experience across Fortune 500 organizations in multiple sectors. He provides strategic counsel to boards and C-suite leaders on navigating AI risk, designing enterprise accountability frameworks, and making critical operating model decisions that enable organizations to justify how their AI systems reach conclusions. His expertise is particularly relevant at the intersection of agentic AI expansion, automated controls and human reliance, complex vendor dependencies, and the accountability gaps that arise when enterprises accelerate AI adoption ahead of their oversight structures.

By May 2026, Eric had published sixteen articles exploring pivotal questions such as who holds accountability when machines make decisions, the obligations boards face when AI fails, the risks associated with vendor dependency blind spots, and new business opportunities emerging from geopolitical fragmentation reshaping markets.

A speaker and panelist at national conferences, Eric is a licensed CPA. His credentials include an MSc in Accounting and Audit from The University of Texas at Dallas, an MBA from American University of Armenia, and completion of an executive leadership program at Columbia Business School.
