Biography
Pete Brown is PwC’s Global Workforce Leader and one of the world’s leading voices on the intersection of AI, skills, productivity and workforce transformation. He advises boards, CEOs and executive teams on how to turn AI and data into sustainable workforce advantage — helping organisations redesign work, accelerate skills, build leadership capability and create human-led, tech-powered businesses.
With more than 30 years of global consulting experience, Pete has led some of the world’s largest and most complex workforce and HR transformations across sectors and geographies. His expertise spans workforce strategy, organisation transformation, strategic workforce planning, skills and learning, workforce analytics, leadership, HR technology and large-scale change.
Pete leads PwC’s global research and thought leadership on the future of work, including the internationally recognised Hopes & Fears survey — one of the world’s largest studies of workers — and the widely cited AI Jobs Barometer, which provides insight into how AI is reshaping jobs, wages, skills and productivity across global labour markets. His work is regularly referenced by business leaders, policymakers and international institutions seeking evidence-based perspectives on AI and workforce disruption.
A recognised global thought leader, Pete collaborates extensively with the World Economic Forum on workforce, skills and AI initiatives and is a frequent keynote speaker, media commentator and executive adviser on the future of work.
