Biography
Mehdi Goodarzi is a senior enterprise AI executive and transformation leader recognised for building and scaling AI-native businesses across some of the world’s most complex global organisations. Currently serving as Senior Vice President at Hexaware Technologies, he has led the firm’s AI agenda across two distinct chapters: first as Chief AI Officer, where he architected and scaled Hexaware’s enterprise-wide AI transformation practice, and now as the executive leading Hexaware’s emerging AI economy business — focused on Sovereign AI strategy, and data pre-training and post-training services for enterprise and government clients navigating the next frontier of AI infrastructure.
Prior to Hexaware, Mehdi co-founded the Digital and AI Strategy practice at Alvarez and Marsal, one of the world’s leading professional services and advisory firms, where he built the practice from inception into a market-recognised capability delivering AI transformation programmes for global enterprises and private equity-backed organisations across financial services, healthcare, and technology. Before that, he spent nearly a decade at Accenture’s Global IIoT and Industry X.0 practice, leading enterprise AI and advanced engineering programmes across North America, Europe, and Asia Pacific. Earlier in his career, he held senior leadership roles at Nokia, where he built the firm’s advanced analytics and IoT commercial practice across Europe and the Middle East.
Mehdi is recognised by Gartner and HFS Research as a Generative AI thought leader and enterprise AI adoption authority. He speaks regularly at major global forums including the New York AI Summit, and London AI Week on topics spanning agentic AI, Sovereign AI infrastructure, enterprise AI transformation, and responsible AI governance. He has authored frameworks on AI governance, model risk management, and enterprise AI adoption strategy, and holds advisory relationships with leading AI platform and cloud infrastructure providers.
Mehdi holds an MBA in Entrepreneurship, Design and Innovation and an MSc in Telecommunication and Electrical Engineering, both from Imperial College London.
