Biography

For the past 35 years, Jerome Dumaine has helped global financial services firms define strategies and implement solutions to gain flexibility for the digital future, deepen engagement with customers, improve outcomes, and increase their profitability.  

An Engineer by training, Jerome has a passion to help his customers achieve the business benefits they expect from digital initiatives. He is an expert at leading multi-disciplinary teams deploy cutting edge architectures and build long-term, scalable processes to ensure success and growth. He also maintains a curious mind for all emerging technologies. 

At Cognizant, as a Vice President, Jerome most recently oversaw our French Banking and Capital Market’s portfolio including marquee global firms. Previously he led the development of Cognizant’s points of views on Capital Markets industry topics, and of corresponding solutions with various 3rd party vendors. Recent areas of focus include shorten settlement cycles, Intelligent Operations, Agentic AI Platforms, ESG Finance and Regulatory Disclosure, and the future of Market Infrastructure providers. 

Prior to joining Cognizant, Jerome built his Digital Transformation skills as a Professional Services leader and Management Consulting Partner at Fenergo, FIS, Accenture and IBM Global Business Services where he supported multiple global Bulge Bracket banks, and global market infrastructure providers in the areas of operations efficiencies, straight-through processing and regulatory driven transformation, including early T+1 readiness assessment and planning efforts for the US securities industry.
