Since establishing Artefact’s Financial Services practice from the ground up in 2022, Joffrey Martinez has never stopped building. What began as a blank page is now one of the firm’s top global sectors, serving institutions across banking, insurance, asset management, payments, and fintech — and a direct contributor to Artefact crossing the billion-dollar valuation mark. In a field where most practices plateau, Joffrey has built one that compounds through organic growth and targeted global acquisitions.

Joffrey has always operated on both fronts — building the organization while leading large-scale AI and data transformations for the sector. Joffrey has moved his clients into the next challenge: Agentic AI. From retail banking to insurance and asset management, he has led transformations that embed generative and agentic AI into core workflows while upholding the uncompromising risk standards of the financial world. Before Artefact, Joffrey built a deliberately broad foundation — from private equity to strategy at BearingPoint, then leading AI for IBM Consulting France at a time when few had made that bet. This mix of entrepreneurial grit and sector depth shapes his vision. He holds a degree from KEDGE, completed executive education at École Polytechnique, and serves as a board member.
