Biography

Matt Pearce is a Solutions Director of Emerging Technology at General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT), a global technology and professional services company delivering consulting, technology, and mission services to every major agency across the U.S. government, defense, and intelligence community. GDIT’s 30,000 experts operate in more than 50 countries, with leading capabilities in digital modernization, AI/ML, cloud, cyber, and application development. Before his current role, Pearce served as one of GDIT’s AI/ML Capability Leads and co-led the Luna AI Digital Accelerator program, driving innovative AI and data management projects.

Pearce began his career in 1997 and brings nearly 30 years of experience architecting and delivering production-grade enterprise systems across AI/ML, computer vision, geospatial, and cybersecurity for both government and commercial customers. Before joining GDIT, he was Technical Director at Freedom Technology Group, where he led mission-critical data science, AI/ML, and data management systems for Intelligence Community customers. Earlier, he co-founded and served as CTO of TerraMajic, Inc., a video analytics and geospatial technology startup, and held senior architecture and technical leadership roles at ManTech, EchoStorm, Boeing, KnowledgeMax, and Template Software. Pearce holds BS and MS degrees in meteorology/atmospheric science from Penn State University and is currently pursuing an MS in Computational Data Science & Machine Learning at Carnegie Mellon University.
