Biography
Michael Tatschl is a Partner at Simon-Kucher, the world’s leading commercial growth and pricing consultancy. With over 2,200 employees across 30+ countries, Simon-Kucher helps companies unlock better growth through pricing, sales, and marketing. Tatschl serves as Co-Head of Simon-Kucher Elevate, the firm’s digital consulting division focused on AI and digital transformation.
Based in Vienna, he helps organizations translate AI ambition into measurable commercial impact by connecting technology, data, customer-centric business models, and growth strategy. Tatschl’s work is distinguished by a pragmatic approach to AI value creation. He helps leadership teams separate broad AI access, which builds organizational learning and experimentation, from targeted AI deployments, which must operate as measurable business investments. This distinction enables companies to develop AI fluency at scale while applying rigorous ROI discipline to the workflows and use cases that should deliver tangible impact.
With more than 15 years of experience, Tatschl has led multi-year digital transformation programs from strategy through implementation, including measurement architecture. He has led over 150 projects bringing together consulting and advanced analytics to build scalable AI-powered solutions, including sales automation, RFQ/tender-response intelligence, Next-Best-X recommendations, digital sales enablement, and scalable digital customer interactions.
Beyond client work, Tatschl is a frequent speaker and thought leader on emerging technologies, generative AI, and the future of commercial operations. He is driving innovation inside the company by fostering innovation within teams, teaching and applying agentic workflows, and currently supporting the build of a ring-fenced AI innovation lab. He has certified expertise in agile ways of working through SAFe and customer-centric solution approaches through Stanford. He studied at Vienna University of Economics and Business and the Texas McCombs School of Business.
