Biography

Scott Sands is a Senior Partner at Simon-Kucher and leads the firm’s Sales Effectiveness practice. Simon-Kucher is a global commercial growth and pricing consultancy with more than 2,200 experts across 30+ countries and over 40 years of commercial advisory experience.

Based in Atlanta, Sands advises executive teams on how to deploy sales, marketing, and service resources more effectively to drive profitable growth. His expertise spans sales strategy, customer segmentation, pricing, channel strategy, sales organization design, demand generation, territory design, incentive compensation, and commercial governance. He is particularly recognized for helping B2B companies improve go-to-market execution and revenue growth in complex global markets.

With more than three decades of experience in sales effectiveness consulting and commercial transformation, Sands has worked across industries including technology, industrials, life sciences, business services, financial services, and telecommunications. Prior to joining Simon-Kucher, he held senior leadership roles in sales effectiveness consulting and private equity advisory, including leading a global Sales Force Effectiveness practice and driving operational value creation for midcap PE portfolio companies. 

Beyond his advisory work, he is also a globally sought-after speaker on topics including sales effectiveness, incentive design, and commercial transformation. Sands holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Vanderbilt University, as well as a MBA in Marketing from The University of Texas at Austin.
