FireTeam Solutions and Case Consulting Announce Merger

FireTeam Solutions, a provider of technology services to the U.S. intelligence community, recently announced its merger with Case Consulting, a high-end software development and engineering services provider to the federal government and private industry. The terms of the deal were not publicly disclosed, and the newly combined companies will continue to use their respective brand names in the market.

FireTeam offers a broad range of engineering, development, and programmatic services to clients within the Department of Defense and the greater intelligence community. Its mission-critical services include secure cloud architecture and analytics, systems engineering and integration, and software development and automation. FireTeam is a portfolio company of AE Industrial Partners (AEI), a U.S.-based private equity firm that specializes in aerospace, defense & government services, space, power & utility services, and specialized industrial markets. AEI made a significant investment in FireTeam in October 2021 through its AE Industrial Partners Structured Solutions I Fund. AEI is a signatory to the United Nations Principles for Responsible Investment and the ILPA Diversity in Action initiative.

The Leesburg, Virginia-based Case Consulting offers software developers, architects, and engineers with the high security clearances required to support the mission critical requirements of its clients in the intelligence community, supplying capabilities such as system engineering, high-end application design and development, and data science. The company was founded in 2012 by its current Chief Executive Officer, Paul Farmer Jr., who will take the helm of the newly joined companies.
