FireTeam offers a broad range of engineering, development, and programmatic services to clients within the Department of Defense and the greater intelligence community. Its mission-critical services include secure cloud architecture and analytics, systems engineering and integration, and software development and automation. FireTeam is a portfolio company of AE Industrial Partners (AEI), a U.S.-based private equity firm that specializes in aerospace, defense & government services, space, power & utility services, and specialized industrial markets. AEI made a significant investment in FireTeam in October 2021 through its AE Industrial Partners Structured Solutions I Fund. AEI is a signatory to the United Nations Principles for Responsible Investment and the ILPA Diversity in Action initiative.

The Leesburg, Virginia-based Case Consulting offers software developers, architects, and engineers with the high security clearances required to support the mission critical requirements of its clients in the intelligence community, supplying capabilities such as system engineering, high-end application design and development, and data science. The company was founded in 2012 by its current Chief Executive Officer, Paul Farmer Jr., who will take the helm of the newly joined companies.

"The combination of FireTeam's exceptional experience in cloud engineering and software development and AEI's expertise in business growth and relationships in defense and intelligence made this merger a clear choice," said Farmer. "This new partnership will allow us to more fully support the growth and development of our employees and further enable us to continue providing innovative technical solutions for our customers. I'm humbled and excited for the opportunity to lead this group of amazing people."
