IQVIA is expanding its strategic collaboration with Kexing Biopharm to support a global, multi-product biosimilar development and commercialization program. The partnership is designed
The collaboration will also incorporate IQVIA’s AI-enabled clinical trial tools across key parts of the development process. IQVIA said the technology will support activities including protocol design, site identification, and study conduct, with the goal of improving trial speed, efficiency, and decision-making.
Kexing Biopharm, listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange, develops and commercializes recombinant protein drugs and microecological preparations. Through the expanded collaboration, the company aims to accelerate biosimilar development for international markets while maintaining quality and scientific standards.
For IQVIA, the agreement extends its role across the biosimilar development lifecycle, from clinical planning and regulatory strategy to commercialization support. Brian Mi, President of Asia Pacific at IQVIA, said the company is bringing “deep biosimilar expertise, global execution capabilities and AI-powered solutions” to support Kexing’s global expansion strategy.
Kexing General Manager Yanqing Zhao said the collaboration will support the company’s internationalization plans by helping optimize trial design, mitigate regulatory risk, and improve overseas registration efficiency. The partnership gives Kexing access to a coordinated global development model as biosimilar companies face rising pressure to move efficiently through clinical, regulatory, and commercial milestones.
