Recently the healthcare focused government IT firm Liberty IT Solutions announced it had recruited and hired Joe Branson, formerly of Cerner. Liberty is a mission-centric SDVOSB that supports multiple government agencies across a diverse portfolio of Health IT projects.

At Cerner, Joe was a director in the firm’s government services division. At Liberty, he will serve as vice president of product strategy and partner relations. The company helps its clients achieve critical transformational change by assembling a team with insider knowledge of Federal Health IT tools, platforms, and systems and outsider expertise in commercial healthcare, technology and user-centric design.

Joe will be leveraging his deep experience in federal contracting. Throughout his tenure at Cerner, he engaged in opportunities with the departments of Defense and Veteran Affairs. He also led activities under a $10 billion contract with the VA.

Liberty commented publicly stating, “As a top T4NG SDVOSB, Liberty has been awarded 49 task orders including AMCMS where they are implementing WellHive SaaS to integrate financial management, medical management and data analytics to accurately forecast, monitor and control Community Care medical services costs.”
