ServiceNow and Accenture are launching a forward deployed engineering program designed to help enterprise clients move agentic AI workflows from pilot projects into production. The program places joint teams of ServiceNow AI-native engineers and Accenture industry specialists inside customer environments, where they will build workflows directly on the ServiceNow AI Platform. The companies said the model is intended to close a delivery gap in enterprise AI adoption, citing Accenture research showing that only 32% of leaders report sustained, enterprise-wide AI impact.
At the heart of the partnership is the ServiceNow AI Control Tower, a command center designed to govern and secure agents without sacrificing execution speed. Clients gain access to over 300 pre-built AI agent skills, allowing organizations to orchestrate work across legacy systems and cloud applications through a unified pane of glass. Ram Ramalingam, lead for Software and Platform Engineering at Accenture, noted that the focus has shifted from investment to scalability, stating, “This program brings together Accenture's industry depth and implementation reach with ServiceNow's AI Platform to deliver real results, not roadmaps.”
The program uses purpose-built pods organized around each client’s specific value chain. By embedding engineers inside the systems where work already happens, the partnership aims to deliver measurable outcomes like faster operations and lower costs before a broad rollout begins. John Aisien, Senior Vice President at ServiceNow, emphasized the hands-on nature of the collaboration, stating, “We're not simply handing over instructions. Our teams are in the customers’ environments, implementing ServiceNow, customer & third-party building blocks.”
