Profile

As Senior Managing Director for Accenture Federal Services (AFS), Elaine Beeman serves as the firm’s Civilian Portfolio Lead, supporting Federal and quasi-governmental agencies in achieving their mission-critical strategic, operational, and technology goals. Beeman’s mandate is clear – develop the best technology and operational solutions for clients across the Federal spectrum. Her client portfolio is highly diverse and far-reaching: U.S Postal Service, Amtrak, the General Services Administration, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services/CMS, the USDA, United Nations and several key Federal financial oversight agencies (Treasury, IRS, the SEC, and FDIC), among other organizations. Since joining Accenture in 1993, Beeman’s professional focus has evolved and expanded, from guiding clients on journeys of transformational change, organizational design, and process optimization for the health, communications and media industries, to overseeing all Federal Civilian business for AFS. Beeman joined AFS in 2009 as head of the CRM practice for the firm’s Health and Public Service business. The following year, she was selected to run AFS’ Management Consulting business. Beeman’s responsibilities expanded in 2015 when she assumed leadership of the AFS Civilian Portfolio. Across Beeman’s senior management roles at AFS, one thread has run it all -- a commitment to excellence and optimal performance, for clients and for her AFS team. Beeman is passionate about providing exceptional client service and coaching, organizational and strategic design, and strategies that are genuinely transformational for Federal agencies most in need of it. Beeman holds Bachelor’s and Masters degrees from the University of Delaware and lives in the Washington, D.C. area with her husband and three daughters.
