Profile

With over 20 years of consulting experience, John Drake is a Vice President in Kaiser’s Public Sector Practice. With more than 300 professionals across offices in Washington D.C., London, São Paulo, and Hong Kong, Kaiser is a multinational boutique strategy consulting firm specializing in research, external insight and analysis, and commercial diligence. The firm caters to a highly selective and elite client base comprised of many Global 500 corporations, private equity firms, and government entities, creating a successful environment even during times of crisis. Since 2013, Drake has served as a VP in the firm’s Public Sector practice, consulting across nearly all Federal departments and agencies as well as state and local governments and organizations.

Drake brings experience and expertise in strategic planning, business process reengineering and improvement, and organizational development, among others. He has helped senior level C-Suite executives become true business partners with their customers, and enable mission success through improved operations and support. Before joining Kaiser, he was director of operations and strategy with Voorthuis Opticians, Inc.; and he began his career with a ten-year stint as a senior manager with Grant Thornton LLP. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in political science from the College of Wooster and is a certified Balanced Scorecard Professional (BSP).
