Profile

Kensey Biggs completed her first ESG project a decade ago. Leveraging deep experience in investor relations, Biggs brings an investor’s perspective to ESG matters and applies a data-driven approach to connect material sustainability factors with a company’s financial performance. She advises clients primarily on ESG strategy, as well as on ESG integration, oversight, infrastructure, and reporting. Biggs came to Teneo from Truist, where she reported to the Chief Sustainability Officer and helped build the bank’s ESG practice from the ground up following the merger of SunTrust and BB&T. She previously was a Senior Counselor at Abernathy MacGregor, where she developed its ESG offering and served as a founding Co-Chair of the AMO Network’s Global ESG Taskforce, a committee of ESG experts spanning four continents. Earlier in her career, Biggs helped grow Teneo’s investor relations practice and ESG offering, managing the launch of the Shareholder-Director Exchange, a corporate governance initiative led by U.S. asset managers and public company directors. She started her career at Goldman Sachs in New York. In 2022, she was named one of the Top 50 Most Powerful Women in Business by the National Diversity Council. She is also a member of JUST Capital’s JUST Generation Committee.
