technologies. The investment focuses on advancing Open RAN solutions designed for 5G and future 6G networks, supporting mission-critical communications and aligning with U.S. technology priorities. 

The collaboration aims to enhance adaptive communication systems by embedding artificial intelligence directly into network infrastructure. By combining software-defined networks, edge computing, and AI capabilities, the initiative enables faster data processing near operational environments, improving responsiveness, situational awareness, and network reliability.

The partnership will initially focus on defense applications, with plans to expand into enterprise and international markets. Chris Christou, Senior Vice President at Booz Allen, said, “We’re advancing AI-native wireless networks that strengthen resilience and bring AI to the edge.” Travis Bales, Director of Booz Allen Ventures, added, “Through this investment, Booz Allen is helping accelerate the technologies and partnerships needed to support government missions.”
