Former healthcare executive Sean O'Reilly has joined FTI Consulting as a Senior Managing Director within the firm’s Healthcare Risk Management & Advisory practice. In this role, O’Reilly will advise managed care and provider organizations on the design, implementation, and improvement of enterprise compliance programs. The practice directly targets high-stakes regulatory pressures by focusing on critical risk identification, control development, and operational responsiveness.
The appointment injects advanced technical data systems directly into the advisory group. O'Reilly will support corporate clients with data-driven risk management, specializing in the deployment of advanced analytics and artificial intelligence. These capabilities will be utilized to identify and mitigate compliance vulnerabilities, including operational fraud, waste, and abuse across sectors such as Medicare Advantage, Medicaid, and pharmacy networks.
O’Reilly brings more than 25 years of operational compliance experience, including a prior role as senior vice president and chief compliance officer at a Fortune 50 integrated healthcare company. During that tenure, he directed the development of compliance audit tools that leveraged advanced data analytics and natural language processing. His background also includes experience practicing as a healthcare regulatory attorney.
The expanded technical capabilities address escalating compliance operational challenges.
