These towers are central to the CBP’s Consolidated Tower & Surveillance Equipment program, which aims to modernize border monitoring through automation. Built with commercial technology, the systems integrate edge AI, video analytics, and 5G/satellite links to reduce operator workloads and allow agents to focus on field operations. This certification aligns with GDIT’s Vision, Innovation and Acceleration strategy, emphasizing advanced border security.

With over a decade of border security experience, GDIT serves as a prime contractor on multiple surveillance programs. Following a 2023 award on a $1.8 billion contract to expand the Integrated Surveillance Tower program, the company has deployed over 200 tower sites. This milestone reinforces GDIT’s ability to provide rapid, mission-ready solutions that enhance the agency's border surveillance effectiveness.
