RSM US Strengthens Leadership Team with Key Appointments

Effective August 1, 2023, RSM US, one of the nation's leading middle market firms, welcomed two accomplished leaders to its executive team. Jason Alexander assumed the role of Enterprise Industrials Leader, while Michele Juliana stepped into the position of Enterprise Nonprofit and Education Leader. These strategic appointments mark another significant move by RSM US to fortify its industry expertise and enhance its ability to serve clients in the industrial, nonprofit, and education sectors.

With an impressive 20 years of experience in risk consulting, program design, and technology selection and deployment, Jason Alexander is well-prepared to take on the role of Enterprise Industrials Leader at RSM US. He joined RSM in 2007 and quickly rose through the ranks, demonstrating his expertise and leadership abilities. Since 2021, Alexander has led RSM's largest manufacturing area, spanning consulting, tax, and audit services.

Alexander's career journey includes roles as a senior auditor at Sears, a tax consultant at KPMG, and a Deloitte tax consultant. His educational background is equally impressive, boasting a master's degree in taxes from Florida Atlantic University and a bachelor's degree in accounting from Detroit Mercy. Alexander's extensive certifications, including certified fraud examiner, internal auditor, information systems auditor, and risk management assurance, underscore his commitment to excellence in his field. In his new role, Alexander expressed his enthusiasm, highlighting the importance of collaboration and leveraging RSM's global capabilities to provide clients with value-added strategies.

The second hire is Michele Juliana – who brings a wealth of knowledge to her position as Enterprise Nonprofit and Education Leader at RSM US. With 25 years of experience leading nonprofit and commercial sector ERP, CRM, and HCM IT deployments, Juliana is well-equipped to guide the firm's efforts in this critical sector. Since joining RSM in 2001, she has consistently demonstrated her expertise and leadership, eventually assuming the role of leader for the nonprofit consulting practice in 2019.

Before her tenure at RSM, Juliana held key positions, including account manager at Keystone Information Systems and grant manager at New Jersey's Princeton and the University of the Arts. Her educational background includes a master's in educational administration from Rutgers and a bachelor's in business administration from Wake Forest University. Juliana emphasized the vital role nonprofits and educational institutions play in our communities, expressing her eagerness to lead her team in addressing the complex challenges these organizations face, including compliance, technological advancements, and workforce management.

These appointments follow RSM's continued commitment to bolstering its leadership team in 2023. Earlier this year, Sergio de la Fe was appointed Enterprise Digital Leader, and John Brackett assumed the position of Chief Risk Officer. These strategic additions reaffirm RSM US's dedication to delivering exceptional value and expertise to its clients, solidifying its position as a leading middle-market firm.
