a mandate to expand core advisory capabilities and support financial institutions pursuing profitable growth. Spear brings extensive experience advising banks, asset managers, fintech companies, and private equity investors on strategy, growth initiatives, and profitability. 

In his new role, he will help advance offerings, including merger and acquisition deal diagnostics, value creation programs, product and customer portfolio management, sales effectiveness, and AI-driven transformation. Commenting on the opportunity, Spear said, “Simon-Kucher has a unique opportunity to help financial services clients in the Americas navigate fast-changing environments and turn increasing complexity into a competitive advantage.”

Spear will lead a partner team with expertise across major financial services segments. The group includes Michael Nadel, who oversees insurance in the Americas; Krishna Gottipaty, focusing on asset management and capital markets; David Chung, responsible for payments; and Rohan Shah, who guides retail and small business banking initiatives. Christoph Stegmeier continues to expand the firm’s financial services activities across Latin America and North America, while senior advisors Leo D'Acierno and Doug Trott provide strategic guidance in banking and wealth management.
