Chartis has added two senior partners as the healthcare advisory firm expands its work in strategic transformation and AI. The firm announced that David Church has joined as a strategic transformation senior partner, while Ali Paasimaa has joined as a senior partner and head of the Chartis Leap AI Studio.
Church brings more than 25 years of experience advising academic health centers, medical schools, universities, and health systems on strategy, operations, and financial performance. Before joining Chartis, he held leadership roles at PwC, Huron Group, Navigant Consulting, and CSC Healthcare, and also led the business planning office at NYU’s School of Medicine.
Paasimaa joins with more than 25 years of technology and business leadership experience spanning startups and large enterprises. At Chartis, he will lead AI-related work through the firm’s Leap AI Studio, with a focus on generative AI product development, technology strategy, and building AI engineering capabilities for clients. Before joining the firm, he founded Leap AI, a generative AI venture studio, and previously held senior roles at Reaktor, PwC Advisory, EY Private Equity, and Accenture Strategy.
The appointments reflect growing demand across healthcare for both operational transformation and AI implementation. In announcing the hires, Chartis said the additions will help clients respond to change across the industry while building new capabilities in strategy, performance, and technology.
