Camaj brings over 20 years of experience in the healthcare and employee benefits sectors. Before joining Mercer in 2017, he held senior national roles at Aetna in business development and consulting firm relations. At Mercer, he previously led the U.S. West Zone for the Health Practice and the U.S. Life, Absence & Disability and Voluntary Benefits team. Susan Potter stated that Camaj’s track record "uniquely positions him to build on the US Health Practice’s success" in a shifting market.

In his new role, Camaj is tasked with helping employers manage rising costs and improving care quality through innovative strategies. His leadership follows a tenure focused on fostering a client-focused culture of collaboration. Camaj noted that he looks forward to delivering practical solutions that simplify the employee experience.
