Booz Allen Hamilton has secured a $315 million contract to develop the Tactical Operations Center-Light prototype for the Department of the Air Force's Program Executive Office for Command, Control, Communications, and Battle Management (DAF PEO C3BM). This five-year agreement focuses on Phase II of the Advanced Battle Management System, Distributed Battle Management Node, and supports the Combined Joint All-Domain Command and Control

Booz Allen will build the prototype using its Modular Detachment Kit, a proven field capability that connects sensors, decision-makers, and weapons in high-pressure operational environments. “With Modular Detachment Kit, we launched an investment to develop a C2 solution that met the expectations of the warfighters on our team,” said Steve Escaravage, President of Booz Allen’s Defense Technology Group.

To speed up development and deployment, Booz Allen will utilize its technology centers in South Carolina and Florida, along with its partner L3Harris Technologies. L3Harris will contribute expertise in tactical radios, waveform development, and mission system integration. “We are excited to partner with L3Harris to deliver technology that advances warfighting missions, works across systems, and enables the Department of Defense’s CJADC2 vision,” said Khalid Syed, Senior Vice President at Booz Allen.
