Virtusa Corporation, a digital engineering and IT services provider, has entered into a multi-year partnership with IHH Healthcare to advance its digital transformation across Singapore, Malaysia, India, and other markets. The initiative will upgrade IHH’s technology platforms to improve patient care, streamline hospital operations, and lower long-term system costs. A key focus will be exploring Generative AI and Agentic AI applications across the healthcare chain, from clinical services and hospital administration to billing and compliance. Nitesh Banga, President and CEO of Virtusa, stated, “This long-term collaboration goes far beyond standard service delivery. It’s designed to embed innovation into IHH Healthcare’s core operations, enabling smarter, faster, and more seamless care for patients, while creating a consistent, high-quality digital experience for all stakeholders.”
The partnership comes on the heels of Virtusa’s acquisition of Salesforce consultancy Mav3rik and the launch of its China entity, underscoring its growing footprint in Asia. Linus Tham, Group CIO of IHH Healthcare, emphasized, “Partnering with Virtusa marks a significant step in advancing our digital transformation, helping us provide smart, more efficient care to our patients.” Asia remains Virtusa’s fastest-growing market, with the company set to open a new Singapore headquarters later in 2025 and expand delivery centers in Vietnam, the Philippines, and Indonesia to support rising demand. With over 200 Forbes Global 2000 clients across industries, Virtusa aims to leverage its Engineering First approach to deliver measurable results and strengthen healthcare outcomes across APAC.
