Jo Debecker is a proven leader and the Global Head of Cloud and Infrastructure Services (CIS) at Wipro Limited, a division offering data center and hybrid cloud services, digital network services, digital workplace, digital processes and tools, and connected intelligence. This business line accounts for more than 26% of the organization’s revenue and has an excellent track record of client retention. Before joining Wipro, Debecker was the Chief Delivery Officer and Head of Group Operations at Atos, where he held several senior leadership roles. As a member of the executive committee, he was responsible for defining and executing group strategy around horizontal portfolios, acquisitions and divestitures, market positioning, and more. He was instrumental in 10 acquisitions in a single year and was a key contributor in bringing the Infrastructure and Data Management division back to profitability. Debecker led almost 90,000 employees globally and was responsible for delivery operations for the Atos Group, spanning infrastructure, cloud, workplace, and application services.
As a true value creator, Debecker is known for the turn-around of large global organizations. He has also served in several leadership positions at Hewlett-Packard and began his career at Procter and Gamble as a system analyst. Debecker holds a master's degree in finance and computer science from The University of Leuven, Belgium. He is based in Switzerland and is fluent in English, Dutch, French, and German.
