Annie Zilius has contributed her considerable skills in healthcare transformation to Chicago-based business consultancy Huron, first as a senior director and then in her current position as Managing Director. Zilius leads Huron Healthcare’s Medical Group, Physician Enterprise, and Access to Care solutions. Deirdre Baggot is an HLS Partner at Oliver Wyman, based in the firm’s Chicago office. Oliver Wyman, a business of Marsh McLennan, is a management consulting firm that combines deep industry knowledge with specialized expertise to help clients optimize their business, improve operations, and accelerate performance. Baggot plays an important role in helping the Provider team expand its footprint further into provider systems, clinical domains, value-based care and contracting, and government programs.
Previously, Baggot spent 10 years in academic healthcare, first at Northwestern Memorial Hospital and later at the University of Michigan Health System. She shifted to consulting in 2010 by joining GE/Camden as Senior Vice President and then joining ECG as a Partner. Baggot also worked for CMS as an Expert Reviewer for the Bundled Payments for Care Improvement Initiative, and advised NY Medicaid on the development of eight chronic disease bundles. Most recently, she has been working with Verily start-up Onduo on new payment models for diabetics.

Debbi Belanger is a partner at ClearView Healthcare Partners. She first joined the company in 2009 as managing director. John Derse is a Senior Partner at Mercer, where he leads the firm’s Healthcare Provider Industry practice. Based in Charlotte, NC, Derse has been with Mercer for over 30 years, specializing in people strategy, including strategy alignment, change management, workforce analytics, and rewards. He provides comprehensive strategic advice on the design, implementation, and operation of human capital and HR functions.
Derse has led successful projects for several prominent academic health systems across the US. At a respected central US health system, he directed initiatives in human capital strategy, total rewards, nurse retention, and leadership development, guiding the organization through post-merger integration and strategic planning.
At another large health system, Derse oversaw the implementation of a new technology platform across HR, finance, and supply chain, managing change and developing new role architectures. She has recently been appointed the Global Strategy and Markets Leader for the EY Climate Change and Sustainability Services (CCaSS) practice. In this new role, she is responsible for the strategic direction and growth for EY CCaSS globally including focus on solutions, sectors, go to market and brand efforts. She oversees the development of consistent delivery methodologies, digital enablement, and innovation of EY sustainability services and the engagement of EY with sustainability partners and Alliances. Dr. Ivanova regularly engages with the analyst community and EY has been recognized consistently as the leading provider of sustainability practice in professional services globally.
Dr. Ivanova is the EY Liaison Delegate at WBCSD. Throughout her career, she has worked with the leading Sustainability organizations including CDP, WEF, SBTi, and UNGC. She regularly speaks at Sustainability forums and has published thought leadership on various topics including Sustainability strategy, Sustainable supply chains, climate and natural capital, and sustainability reporting.
She holds a PhD and MSc from the University of Manchester, UK and MSc from the University of Sofia, Bulgaria. She speaks five languages.
She was recognized among the Top 100 Women in Sustainability in 2022 and 2023 by the Sustainability Magazine, among the Top 100 CSO by the Sustainability Magazine in 2023, and among the Top 25 Sustainability Consultants and Leaders in 2022 and 2023 by the Consulting Report. In 2024, she was recognized among the Top 14 Inspiring Women Leading the Fight Against Climate Change by ESG News and among the Top 20 Chief Sustainability Officers by The Climate Insider.
Zara Muradali is the National Industry Managing Principal of Grant Thornton’s Life Sciences practice. With nearly 30 years of experience in the public accounting industry, Muradali leads a national team of more than 400 life sciences colleagues, including 50 partners, principals and managing directors.
Muradali’s team serves over 400 life sciences clients, headquartered in Boston, New York, San Diego, San Francisco, San Jose, Dallas, Raleigh, and Minneapolis, among others, with branches and supply chains that span much of the globe. These clients include 51% of Fortune 1000 life sciences companies and 47% of Russell 1000 life sciences companies.
Previously, Muradali was a Partner and New England Upstate NY Life Science and Medical Device Industry Partner at KPMG US and before that an Account Leader in Business Tax Services at EY. Earlier in her career she worked with Deloitte as an Associate. She holds a master’s degree in taxation from the D’Armore-McKim School of Business at Northeastern University and an undergraduate degree in accounting from the University of Massachusetts in Amherst.
