Deirdre Baggot is an HLS Partner at Oliver Wyman, based in the firm’s Chicago office. Stephane Budel is more than a founding Partner at Decibio; a seasoned entrepreneur and veteran of the life sciences industry, he has worked to develop the new frontier in genomics and gene sequencing, working with dozens of clients in the research tools and clinical diagnostics fields. Prior to his service as HHS Deputy General Counsel, Urbanowicz was a partner in the law firm of Locke, Liddell & Sapp LLP. Urbanowicz earned his bachelor’s and law degrees from Tulane University. He is an elected member of the American Law Institute and is a member of the bars of the District of Columbia, the State of Louisiana and the United States Supreme Court.

Roman Salasznyk leads Booz Allen’s life science practice and its support across the Department of Health and Human Services. Based out of our Bethesda, Maryland, office, Salasznyk has more than 20 years of experience in biomedical research, medical product and regulatory lifecycle development, and management and technology consulting. He manages a multidisciplinary team that supports initiatives aimed at expediting medical product approvals and scientific discoveries. Before joining Booz Allen in 2010, Salasznyk managed the clinical and regulatory development of cellular therapies to treat serious medical conditions for inflammatory, orthopedic, and cardiovascular indications at Osiris Therapeutics. His work included leading the company’s biological product development under a multimillion-dollar Department of Defense contract. Salasznyk is a certified project management professional. He was an Aspen Spotlight Health Scholar, has authored more than 10 peer-reviewed scientific publications, and holds a U.S. patent for the preparation and delivery of cellular therapeutics. He has a Ph.D. in biology from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.

Sander Visser is the Managing Partner for Strategy& in the Netherlands and the leader of the Strategy& and PwC Consulting healthcare practices in Europe, based in Amsterdam. Visser specializes in payor-provider collaboration and hospital transformation, leading numerous projects for a wide range of clients. Notably, he co-developed an approach focused on eliminating overuse in healthcare, which improves quality and reduces costs.

At Deloitte UK, Suzanne McDonald is a Consulting Partner with responsibility for the healthcare portfolio at Deloitte in Ireland. As a member of the Consulting team, McDonald focuses on providing health and social care clients with services ranging across strategy, risk and financial management, workforce planning, operational improvement and health technology. McDonald has over 25 years’ experience of working in the health sector – her experience includes social care, private healthcare, healthcare regulation and public health.

Her experience also includes 15 years’ working in pharmaceutical regulation, where she engaged with national and international bodies such as the Department of Health, the European Medicines Agency and the World Health Organisation. As an experienced Board member within a range of sectors including NGO, telecommunications, and higher education, McDonald also supports clients on governance matters. She has recently been appointed the Global Strategy and Markets Leader for the EY Climate Change and Sustainability Services (CCaSS) practice. In this new role, she is responsible for the strategic direction and growth for EY CCaSS globally including focus on solutions, sectors, go to market and brand efforts.
