Accenture Acquires Founders Intelligence, Helps Drive Growth And Innovation

Global professional services firm Accenture has revealed its acquisition of Founders Intelligence, a strategic innovation consulting firm that assists large enterprises in creating growth by using tools, techniques, and insights from technology entrepreneurs and investors. While the terms of the deal were not publicly disclosed, the acquisition reinforces Accenture’s ability to assist senior executives in creating and scaling new business models that achieve sustainable value through innovation.

London, U.K.-headquartered Founders Intelligence was created in 2013, with a team of former startup founders and strategy experts combining their experience and expertise with deep relationships within the technology startup world. The company has leveraged this combination of talent and knowledge in setting strategies and delivering results for FTSE 100 companies and other global enterprises. The team of 35 professionals and subject matter experts will integrate into Accenture’s Innovation practice once the acquisition is finalized.

The firm has a number of practices in the innovation space, including Accenture Research, Ventures, Labs, Studios, and Innovation Centers, a globe-spanning collection of experts and services geared toward taking clients from research to results by utilizing a broad spectrum of techniques to identify and activate disruptive technologies and business practices. The newly acquired Founders Intelligence, already no stranger to assisting large global enterprises in driving innovation, can expect to continue its stellar track record of delivering results at an even greater scale.

The acquisition is the latest in a series of steps Accenture has taken to empower its European clients to harness innovation to drive growth. The firm acquired experimentation-led firm ?WhatIf! and digital ventures consultancy Bow & Arrow in 2019, and was named a leader in The Forrester Wave: Innovation Consulting Services, Q2 2021 report in June.
