Accenture Federal Services Wins $98M DHA Contract for Global Military Medical Mission Visibility Platform

Accenture Federal Services, a subsidiary of Accenture, has been awarded a $98 million contract by the Defense Health Agency (DHA) to operate and enhance the Medical Community of Practice (MedCOP) platform. MedCOP is a critical tool that provides situational awareness and medical command and control capabilities to the Department of Defense (DOD), combatant commanders, and the Armed Services.

The platform enables the synchronization of data across multiple network domains and facilitates near-real-time collaboration and information sharing within and outside the medical community. By offering a comprehensive picture of DOD medical assets and missions, MedCOP aims to increase visibility into unit health, equipment, and supplies, enabling faster and more informed decision-making.
