ALTEN Group (ALTEN) announced its acquisition of award-winning independent software quality engineering services company QA Consultants at the beginning of March, adding software quality engineering capabilities to its services portfolio.
The acquisition of QA Consultants and its deep expertise in software quality will serve as a complementary opportunity to bolster the firm’s data, infrastructure, cloud, agile software development, and cybersecurity consultancy offerings. ALTEN has agreed to acquire substantially all of QA Consultants’ assets for an undisclosed amount, with QA Consultants’ team operating as an independent subsidiary of ALTEN, its senior leadership team remaining with the organization, and the company continuing in a ‘business as usual’ model.
QA Consultants is a leading provider of onshore software testing and quality assurance solutions, serving as a trusted engineering services company for business, industry, and government clients. It has successfully delivered more than 12,000 mission-critical projects for its public, private, and not-for-profit clients over its three decades long history. Its quality engineering and application security capabilities help reduce risk, improve time to market, and lower the cost of ownership while enabling applications to scale through its award-winning performance engineering.
