Belcan Acquires RTM Consulting

Belcan, LLC, a supplier of software, design, supply chain, manufacturing, information technology, and digital engineering solutions to the defense, automotive, industrial, aerospace, and government services markets, recently announced its acquisition of RTM Consulting (RTMC), a provider of business optimization, digital resource management, professional education, digital transformation, and consulting offerings to service businesses.

Headquartered in Cincinnati, Ohio, Belcan has more than 50 locations across the U.S., Canada, Europe, and India. The firm takes a partnering approach to provide solutions that are adaptable, integrated, and value-added, and has worked with customers in a wide variety of markets for more than 60 years.

RTMC, also headquartered in Cincinnati, is a market leader in comprehensive resource management consulting, leveraging its substantial operational experience in services and outsourcing to offer solutions targeted to human capital-intensive service organizations. RTMC serves Fortune 500 companies, technology firms, marketing agencies, industrial equipment suppliers, enterprise/IT organizations, medical device manufacturers, and accounting and advisory firms, providing consulting, training, and digital transformation to drive better business and service outcomes. The company’s employees will join the 10,000-strong Belcan in optimizing its internal delivery teams.

"The compelling need to efficiently allocate resources continues to create demand for improved project management tools and technology. In addition, the scarcity of STEM resources heightens the need for next-generation resource development and deployment systems," said Lance Kwasniewski, Chief Executive Officer of Belcan. "RTMC's specialized expertise will help Belcan develop world-class technology for our internal delivery teams – ultimately helping our customers. We look forward to working with RTMC's experienced and knowledgeable team to change the future of resource management."

Belcan has been focused on acquisitions since its 2015 purchase by AE Industrial Partners, a private equity firm focused on the defense & government services, utilities, and aerospace markets. Notable acquisitions over the past few years include federal information technology services provider Telesis, special operations forces support and federal IT solutions provider VICTOR42, OEM software engineering services provider AVISTA, as well as London-based engineering consultancy and technical services provider Lagoni Engineering. The latest purchase of RTMC marks its 18th acquisition since coming into the AE Industrial Partners portfolio.
