Booz Allen Unveils Cutting-Edge Mission Systems Integration Facility

In a significant stride towards meeting the evolving needs of the US military, Booz Allen has introduced the Pax River Mission Systems Integration Facility (MSIF). This state-of-the-art facility, spanning an impressive 20,000 square feet, is strategically located just 60 miles south of Washington, DC, and within minutes of the US Naval Air Station.

The MSIF stands as a testament to Booz Allen's commitment to providing quick production, prototyping, and testing capabilities for the Department of Defense. With software and hardware integration labs, an anechoic room, a high-bay garage, and spacious warehouses, the facility offers a comprehensive suite of resources to facilitate rapid development and deployment of cutting-edge technology.

Booz Allen’s Global Defense President Judi Dotson emphasized the facility's pivotal role, stating, "Our new facility is an answer and solution to the Department of Defense’s call to create and field technical capabilities at speed and scale, rapidly accelerating readiness and the deployment of new technology into the field."

The primary objective of the MSIF is to empower clients to lead the charge in meeting mission demands by providing the capacity and capability to swiftly address integration needs across all military services. This will play a crucial role in ensuring that the US military remains at the forefront of technological advancement.

Moreover, the MSIF is set to enhance collaboration with local industries by supporting projects undertaken by key entities such as the Naval Air Systems Command and the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division in Southern Maryland and the Naval Surface Warfare Center in Virginia. Booz Allen's Naval Air and Sea Warfare Center Senior Vice President, Dottie Simeona, underlined the significance of this investment, noting, "Our investment in the MSIF builds upon more than 40 years in Southern Maryland with a continued commitment to regional growth and positive community impact."

Simeona further emphasized the pivotal role of the MSIF in Booz Allen's expanding engineering ecosystem, enabling a seamless integration of emerging technology and prototyping with the expertise of their mission specialists. This facility promises to be a critical component in Booz Allen's endeavor to engineer, integrate, and test solutions at an unprecedented pace.

The MSIF is poised to become a cornerstone in the seamless integration of technology, prototyping, and mission expertise, solidifying Booz Allen's position as a leader in defense innovation.
