ePlus Launches New Services To Help Clients Boost Technology

This year has proven how important it is for companies of all sizes to get the most out of their technology—and many are turning to specific firms to make sure those goals are reached.

ePlus, headquartered in Herndon, Virginia, helps its customers boost their technology capabilities across key areas including security, cloud, data center, collaboration, networking, and emerging technologies. Founded in 1990, ePlus has more than 1,500 associates serving customers in the U.S., Europe, and Asia-Pacific.

The company released strong fiscal year 2020 financial results, showing net sales increased 15.7% to more than $1.5 million, while net earnings increased 9.3% to $69.1 million. As a result, it just announced that it has received the NetApp Americas Flash Growth Partner of the Year Award 2020 for its overall flash sales performance, growth year-over-year, and wins in significant accounts.

The news comes right after ePlus revealed that it has extended its Managed Services capabilities to include proactive monitoring, management, and remediation of APC by Schneider Electric uninterruptible power supply (UPS) devices. For 10 years, ePlus Managed Services has helped clients control their IT infrastructure and off-load daily IT tasks to optimize operations and manage risk. This new offering includes fleet management and on-site dispatch of APC-certified resources for equipment replacement, as well as a user portal that provides inventory management and reporting capabilities.

“Despite the importance of continuous power flow to operations, for many organizations the maintenance and upkeep of UPS equipment is overlooked when compared to other IT initiatives. Managed Power Protection allows customers to offload this critical yet often cumbersome task and free their teams to focus on strategic business outcomes,” said Dan Farrell, senior vice president of global services for ePlus.

Earlier this month, the company also launched ePlus Cloud Collaboration, a unified communications-as-a-service solution, powered by Cisco Unified Communications Manager Cloud (UCM Cloud). The offering can help customers eliminate data center infrastructure and related costs, and free up IT resources by integrating voice calling, business telephony, instant messaging, presence, video conferencing, data sharing, call recording, mobility features, and more into a unified solution.
