In an October 14th press release, Guidehouse announced it had been awarded a contract by the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) to develop a prototype Prognostics & Predictive Maintenance (PPMx) analytical platform for the U.S. Army. The platform will provide action-focused analysis for fleet management, supply chain, deployment, and maintenance to improve operations across the Army. The value of the contract was not publicly disclosed at the time of the announcement.
Guidehouse provides support to government and public-sector clients in numerous industries, including energy and infrastructure, financial services, national security and defense, health, life sciences, and all 15 departments of the federal government. The company features more than 12,000 employees and subject matter experts spread across over 50 locations globally. It recently announced the acquisition of Dovel Technologies, a provider of advanced data analytics, enterprise digital modernization and system integration, and cloud adoption and infrastructure optimization, as part of a concerted effort to expand and differentiate offerings across the public and private sectors.
The new initiative will help the U.S. Army modernize supply and maintenance processes by providing analysis, predictions, and prescriptive recommendations, combining Guidehouse’s advanced analytics capabilities with its extensive working knowledge of Army processes, culture, systems, and data to improve both equipment availability and fleet readiness.

Guildhouse will work in partnership with TIBCO, a global leader in enterprise data analytics, to develop and implement on-demand prognostic and predictive maintenance analytical services that leverage multiple data sources to provide recommendations for improvement. The platform will produce data-driven predictions to improve tactical units’ equipment readiness, operational availability, and unit decision-making for maintenance and supply capabilities.
