Tetra Tech Strengthens Federal IT Arm with Acquisition of LS Technologies

Pasadena-based engineering and consulting firm Tetra Tech has successfully acquired LS Technologies (LST), a Virginia-based consulting firm specializing in the National Airspace System (NAS) of the United States. With LST founded in 2000 and boasting 500 employees across two offices in the Washington, DC area, the acquisition bolsters Tetra Tech's federal IT practice within its government services group. LST, known for its expertise in air traffic control, offers services in IT modernization, mission-critical operations, digital transformation, cybersecurity, and program engagement services to federal government agencies. Tetra Tech's federal IT practice, with over 1,480 professionals supporting more than 55 US government departments, gains significant additional capabilities and clients through this strategic move.

Dan Batrack, Chairman and CEO of Tetra Tech, highlighted the combined capabilities of Tetra Tech and LST, emphasizing their commitment to providing the best data analytics, cybersecurity, and digital transformation solutions for critical infrastructure projects. LS Technologies' CEO, Allison Poltorak, expressed enthusiasm about joining Tetra Tech, citing the opportunity to deliver greater value to clients and provide growth opportunities for their 500 employees nationwide. Tetra Tech, with 27,000 employees across 550 offices, anticipates enhanced support for government and commercial customers in infrastructure modernization through this acquisition, contributing to its annual revenues of $5 billion.
