Secure Generative AI Partnership: Intel and BCG Join Forces

Intel Corporation and Boston Consulting Group (BCG) have recently announced a significant collaboration aimed at advancing the field of generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) while ensuring the utmost security. This strategic partnership combines Intel's cutting-edge AI hardware with BCG's expertise in leveraging AI solutions for business transformation.

To facilitate GenAI, BCG utilized Intel's AI supercomputer, which is powered by Intel Xeon Scalable processors and AI-optimized Habana Gaudi hardware accelerators. These advanced technologies enable high-performance computing capabilities and accelerate AI workloads, providing the necessary infrastructure for GenAI development.

Additionally, Intel's production-ready hybrid cloud-scale software played a crucial role in supporting the collaborative effort.  One noteworthy aspect of the collaboration is the focus on maintaining security throughout the entire AI process.

BCG ensured that all AI training and inferencing activities were conducted within their security perimeter, guaranteeing the protection of sensitive data and intellectual property. This emphasis on security is essential, especially as generative AI applications become increasingly prevalent in various industries.

Furthermore, Sandra Rivera, Executive Vice President and General Manager of the Data Center and AI Group at Intel, emphasized the importance of democratizing generative AI while prioritizing security. She stated, "Generative AI requires a truly democratized approach that enables more secure and scalable choice so enterprises can safely benefit from the technology."

Rivera also highlighted how the collaboration with BCG allows customers to build GenAI applications using a technology stack that is optimized across the entire spectrum and remains entirely within their chosen security perimeter.

The ability to develop and deploy generative AI models securely is crucial for businesses looking to harness the power of AI while safeguarding their proprietary information and sensitive data.

This collaboration between Intel and BCG demonstrates a commitment to advancing the field of generative AI while ensuring the highest standards of security and performance.
